Learn about coffee and develop a palate for coffee tasting notes.

Lead internal cupping sessions to ensure all coffee is being roasted consistently and to standard.

Deliver coffee twice a week to all Voyager stores using the company van.

Track online orders and fulfill using USPS.

Assist Lead Roaster in preparing for production on a daily and weekly basis.

Bag, label, and package coffee to go to Voyager stores/wholesale accounts.

Lift coffee, measure green beans, move pallets with pallet jack.

Periodic maintenance of roasting equipment under the guidance of Lead Roaster.

Daily cleaning of roasting equipment and general cleanup of the roasting area.

You will be exposed to the roasting process, and can expect to start learning the art of roasting within a few months.

You can expect to have a ton of fun, but also do a lot of heavy lifting and hard work. You’ll be in a space that has a joint bakery and training lab, so you will be interacting with lots of different people and have exposure to a large part of the business. This job is all about working efficiently and sticking to clear production standards.
